Q. What is your area of expertise?
A. When I started in 2008 my core focus was recruiting in the Business Intelligence space, namely for Cognos & Business Objects professionals, but I honestly can’t remember the last time a client asked us to help find people with those technologies! I quickly carved a niche focused on ETL market and spent a lot of my days helping Informatica PowerCenter developers find their dream job. The data, technology and analytics market has evolved so much since those early days – it’s hard to keep up! Nowadays I find that whether I’m speaking to a Graduate software engineer or a Chief Data Officer, there are always fascinating insights to be gained and new technologies to be learning about.

Q. What do you love about your job?
A. This is twofold. Firstly, I love seeing members of our team grow and develop to the point where they are playing a key role at KDR, giving them the platform to achieve some of their life goals. Secondly, I love building long-lasting relationships with clients and using our expertise and range of services to enable them to make truly impactful changes to their talent attraction and retention strategies.

Q. What is a little-known fact about you?
A. I have met the Queen on more than one occasion, which included performing gymnastics in front of her – needless to say she was very impressed!
