A Global Financial Services company are looking for a Data Governance Manager   to join their Group Chief Data Office as they embark on a mission to improve the quality of their data globally leveraging a federated model internationally.

As a Data Governance Manager   you’ll join an organisation who are well established, recognised and a trusted brand managing $billions in assets for their clients.

They have embarked on a mission to improve the usage and trust in their data to support their business strategy, creating a company first Chief Data Office. The Global CDO is an amazing leader, with a strong pedigree in driving large scale data initiatives forward.

To be successful as Data Governance Manager it is essential you have:

• Strong work experience as a Data Governance Manager in enterprise scale, global organisations
• Experience in the implementation and practical application of data governance
• Have previously defined, implemented and delivered robust data governance frameworks aligned to best practice from industry bodies CDMP, DCAM, CMMI etc.
• End to end data management experience from meta data definitions, data lineage, data ownership, stewardship, Data Quality and of course standards, controls and policy.
• Previous experience of leveraging Data Governance technology to enable the achievement of strategic objectives. Purview preferable.

It would also be great if you also:

• CDMP or DCAM certified
• Have an understanding specifically of the investment and asset management space
