We are seeking an experienced Director of Information Security and Data Privacy
to lead and shape our internal strategies and provide expert guidance to our customers. If you are a seasoned professional with a passion for information security, a proven track record in data privacy initiatives, and familiarity with the complexities of AI, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Leadership
- Define and implement robust information security and data privacy strategies across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with global data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) and industry standards.
- Establish and maintain security frameworks, processes, and policies tailored to the unique challenges of AI systems.
- Lead incident response planning and execution, ensuring swift and effective mitigation of security risks.
- Oversee audits and certifications relevant to information security and data privacy.
Customer Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on information security and data privacy best practices, particularly in AI-related contexts.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to support pre-sales efforts, addressing customer concerns about data security and privacy.
- Deliver impactful presentations, whitepapers, and thought leadership to build confidence in our solutions.
- Assist customers in developing and refining their own security and privacy policies.
Requirements:
Experience
- 10+ years in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrable experience in data privacy, including the design and implementation of privacy initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of AI systems and the unique security challenges they present.
Skills & Knowledge
- Comprehensive understanding of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2) and privacy regulations.
- Expertise in risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong pre-sales or customer-facing experience, with the ability to instill trust and build relationships.
Certifications (Preferred)
- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent information security certifications.
- CIPP/E, CIPM, or other privacy certifications.
