About the Role:

As an Engineering Manager, you’ll head up a talented team in New York focused on key initiatives like Data Subject Requests (DSRs), API integrations, and reporting. This role is central to steering projects toward successful outcomes, elevating team productivity, and fostering an open, collaborative culture that aligns with the company’s values of trust, innovation, and excellence.

• Team Leadership:  Guide and support a team in delivering secure, scalable solutions on time and within budget.
• Technical Oversight:  Shape the architecture and design of projects, maintaining a production defect rate below 2%.
• Process Optimization:  Implement process improvements to achieve a sprint delivery rate of at least 90%.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:  Serve as a key point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and aligned expectations.
• Mentorship & Recruitment:  Onboard, mentor, and attract top talent, with a goal to fill positions within 60 days and achieve high retention.

• 5+ Years in Software Engineering  with at least 2 years in management
• Python Proficiency  and a strong understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party API integration
• Agile Expertise:  Skilled in agile practices, with experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced settings
• Communication & Documentation:  Exceptional written communication and a passion for collaboration and documentation
