Senior Data Platform Manager | £100-110k Base Salary | London (Regular Business Travel - twice+ per month)

A leading bank have embarked on a mission of positive change and transformation to modernise everything data, analytics and AI related across the organisation. The core focus is about adding business value and driving the use of data forward to enable the organisation to achieve its strategic objectives.

Working exclusively with KDR Talent Solutions to grow their Chief Data Office and hire a  Senior Data Platform Manager  among other key roles to bolster their amazing data team!

Who you will work for

The Chief Data Officer is a visionary data leader, with strong pedigree in driving large and complex data initiatives forward and empowering their team to succeed. They report directly into the COO so the team is set up with amazing sponsorship from the top.

You’ll join an established team who sit centrally within the organisation, alongside the CTO and CIO and therefore acting as allies across the change portfolio and out into the wider business.

The Role

This is an opportunity to own and lead the roll out and implementation of  Collibra  enterprise widel! You will lead the management, configuration and optimisation of  Data Governance  and  Data Quality  components of Collibra and wider data management platforming across the business.

You will need to bring the following to the table:

  • Extensive experience and  Technology leadership  experience within banking and with Collibra. This means: You’ve managed teams of technical data management resource who deliver technology and implement the tooling
  • You are comfortable in engaging and managing stakeholders to board level

…and equally comfortable working, enabling and motivating team members at all levels

  • You are comfortable in ensuring risks are mitigated within systems impacted by data management.
  • Have previously delivered large Data Management tooling and technology implementation of Collibra
  • Understand the role technology and tooling plays as the  data governance framework  is embedded into the business.
  • Not only implement but drive the  adoption of data management tooling  across the business and ensure it is fit for purpose and well maintained.

This role carries significant, strategic importance to the business. You will effectively be responsible for technology and tooling element of the data management strategy, its roll out, adoption and continual maintenance. Essentially, Data Management in this organisation cannot succeed without you.
